Total remodeling of an existing shop in Alleur
The second oldest Makro retail location was in need of a thorough update. The shop concept was fully adapted to the needs of today's consumers. Floors, ceilings and furniture were completely redesigned to offer customers a pleasant shopping experience. Four new fire escapes and emergency exits were added to the exterior. Work inside included structural work and interior joinery: expansion of the mezzanine and landings around the escalators, new steel structures and foundation works, interior stairways, refurbishment of the offices, an airtight IT room, and suspended ceilings. We managed the structural work ourselves; for the finishing, we called on our trusted subcontractors. Thanks to meticulous coordination, planning and communication, the shop was able to remain open during the renovation work.
